Hopeful

It's New Year's Eve and I haven't been here for a while, but maybe I will improve my attendance in the New Year.  I am always hopeing to improve, and this is the time of year to think about making a new start.
God Bless, and Happy New Year.

Chatelaine April 2011

Looking at the post from Chatelaine for denim for 50s and beyond, I like some things and not others.  I love denim, and could live forever in it.  The dress couldn't possible be flattering to any saggy armed ladies, and it just looks droopy and depressing.  But I love the shoes, watch and bag.  I like the blazer but it reminds me too much of my mom.

"Michael Michael Kors blazer, $295, Michaelkors.com. Shoes, $220, Blochshoes.com.
Under $100: Scarf, $30, Gapcanada.ca. Dress, $75, Gapcanada.ca. Belt, $35, Gapcanada.ca. Bag, $25, Smartset.ca. Pure Alfred Sung watch, $35, Zellers.com."

Mad at 50

So I'm back.  Sorry for the absence.  I'm not getting any younger either.  So what's with men anyway?  Four of my friends, have devoted their lives to their husbands and families.  Their kids are starting to leave the nest, they have worked hard and sacrificed for their families, put themselves last... You know the story. We've all been there.  Looking after aging parents and in-laws too.  What's next for them?  Of course, what every woman wants.  Husband has a new girlfriend.  She understands him better.  You'd really like her.  They met at work or some work related function.  She really does understand him better.  He's not really leaving for her.  He hasn't been happy for years.  What are we stupid?

Husbands - is that the most boring same old - same old ever?  Get over yourselves.  Wake up and listen to yourself.

Other women of the world.  Thanks a bunch.  It's easy to poach someone else's life work?  Keep him.  Hopefully someone else will poach him too.
